Academy, Holloway

At the back of a building overlooking Digswell Street is a barely noticeable ghost sign. The main entrance to the academy it advertised was most certainly in Crane Grove. Unfortunately I haven't been able to discover what this academy was for.

    That's quite a find, not only very faded but also tucked away on a street that few have cause to walk down.

    True, Digswell Street isn't particularly attractive (and you can't see the ghost sign from Holloway Road). Why did I go there? I guess I was just looking around, checking if there wasn't anything quirky and in that instance I was lucky.

    It almost looks like someone sprayed 'graffiti' and it was sand blasted, but I know that is not the case. Must have been from a very long time ago.
