Strongs, Upper Clapton

If Hinton and R. Gunner in Wembley thought mentioning the origin of their meat was a good selling argument, Strongs didn't bother with it as only the best meat available was sold in his shop. At least that's what he claimed...

Strongs became strongs & Bennett = 130 shops at peak,
Trading as Young Angus, Druce & Craddock, F bennett, & taking over the shops of Pitts = 4 & Kemps = 12 They had a depot in charterhouse street, They just faded away like the rest,
