Ameublement & literie, Cognac
At first sight there is nothing extravagant about this ghost sign spotted in a narrow street of Cognac. However have a second look at the lettering and you'll realise this is a very fine example of Art Nouveau design. Quite unique!

Wonderful fins and what a great old building too!
Thanks Helen. The building itself, from the 19th century, is nothing special and would easily go unnoticed. There are hundreds like this in Cognac and thousands across the region. Yet the ghost sign makes it stand out.
